West Columbia Police: Chester County teen arrested in connection with armed robbery

 

 

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A 17-year-old Chester County teen has been charged with armed robbery, according to the West Columbia Police Department.

The police department says at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Circle K gas station on Sunset Blvd.

After a search, officers detained a 17-year-old Chester County resident.

The teen was charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and kidnapping.

He was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center to await bond court.
