Red Riding Hood shows this weekend to benefit Homeless No More

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Dance Theatre of Columbia is putting on a special show this weekend to help the homeless!

Red Riding Hood will be performed at the Cottingham Theatre on the campus of Columbia College (1301 Columbia College Dr.) on the following dates:

  • Friday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m.

Curtis spoke with dancers TaylorAnne Fogarty, who plays Red Riding Hood, and Mackenzie Litton, who plays a thief and a bluebird, about how the proceeds from the shows go towards the non-profit Homeless No More.

It offers families suffering from homelessness a variety of care, from emergency services to transitional and affordable housing.

General admission tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 and up, and children 3 and under are free. Tickets will be sold online and at the door.
