Super Bowl ticket prices decline

(CNN)– It is officially Super Bowl week, and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8, and the Chiefs are hoping to be the first team to win three executive Super Bowls.

But football fans are apparently not that excited to spend big bucks for that ticket, according to reseller TickPick.

The cheapest ticket for the Super Bowl has fallen below $4,000 on the resale market.

That’s down 30% over the past week and more than 50% cheaper compared to last year’s Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 59 is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m.
