CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help on a hit-and-run that happened on Saturday, said highway patrol.

The hit-and-run happened on Saturday, Feb. 2, around 9 p.m. on US-301 near K.W. Hodge Road O’Neil Court in Clarendon County.

Highway Patrol said an unknown vehicle hit another vehicle in the rear and caused great bodily injuries to the driver.

The person then left the scene, going south on US-301.

SCHP said the vehicle should have front end damage, but the make and model of the vehicle is unknown.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling the SCHP at 803-896-9621, or 1-800-768-1501.
