Victim struck and killed in Orangeburg is identified

Orangeburg, SC (WOLO) — A man struck and killed by a passing car over the weekend has now been identified.  The Orangeburg County Coroner,  Sean Fogle released the information Monday, identifying the victim as 35 year old Michael Howell of Orangeburg. Howell was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident.

Coroner Fogle says the accident took place Sunday February 2, near the intersection of Old Cameron Road and Shadow Lawn Drive in Orangeburg, S.C.

The Coroner says an autopsy for Howell has been scheduled for later this week.
