Second shift crews responded to the home shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5. When firefighters arrived to the scene, they found smoke coming out of the home.

They were able to get inside the house and get the fire under control. Firefighters say the fire started in the kitchen of the home and expanded into part of the attic.
