Orangeburg County teen reported as missing located safe, say deputies

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a teen who was reported as missing, said the dept.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said investigators are searching for 15-year-old Adalae Welch who was reported as missing from her home.

“If you have any information on this young lady, please let us know. We want to get her back to her family as soon as possible,” said the sheriff.

The Ragtime Trail teen was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3.

She is described as a white female standing about 5 foot five inches tall and weighing around 215 pounds.

Her last known clothing description is unknown, but she could be wearing light purple tennis shoes.

Investigators said Welch may be accompanied by her dog, a brown Australian Shepherd with a pink leash.
