Disney+ loses 700K subscribers
(CNN)– Disney+ lost 700,000 subscribers, while Hulu gained 1.6 million after price increases took effect in October.
Disney owns both streaming services. The subscriber losses at Disney+ were not as bad as analysts expected.
And Hulu’s gain was better than expected.
Meanwhile, the animated hit “Moana 2” helped the parent company’s sales for the last three months of 2024.
Overall, Disney reported revenue that was up 5% year over year.
