FCSO: Man arrested in connection with trafficking illegal drugs at Fairfield County motel

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man has been arrested in connection with trafficking illegal drugs at a Fairfield County motel, said the FCSO.

Fairfield County Sheriff Will Montgomery said investigators served a search warrant at a motel near SC-34 in Ridgeway on Wednesday, February 5.

During the search, deputies found Fentanyl, cocaine base, and a stolen firearm.

As a result of the evidence found during the investigation, investigators have arrested Van Buren Fore IV.

He is being charged with trafficking fentanyl (28g or more), possession of crack (2nd Offense), possession of schedule II (2nd Offense), possession of stolen firearm, possession of a weapon during violent crime, possession of a firearm by person convicted of PWID, and prescription law violation.
