SCDOT to conduct temporary closure of part of Hardscrabble Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation is conducting a temporary night time closure of part of Hardscrabble Road in Richland County as part of its widening project, said SCDOT.

Beginning on February 9 at 7 p.m. is when the temporary closure will happen.

The closure will be put in place for two nights beginning at 7 p.m. and being picked up at 6 a.m. the following morning.

The work was originally scheduled for January but had to be postponed.

SCDOT said work is scheduled to be complete by February 11 at 6 a.m.

As part of the closure, a detour has been established using North Brickyard Road, Farrow Road, Longtown Road and Clemson Road.
