Orangeburg Co. Coroner identifies victim of fatal store shooting

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has identified a person who was fatally wounded on Friday, says the coroner’s office.

Coroner Sean Fogle says 48-year-old George Caldwell of Bamberg was found fatally wounded at the Dodge’s Store on Old Edisto Drive on Feb. 7.

Caldwell was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
