SCHP: 1 person dead following Sunday Richland County collision

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a collision Sunday in Richland County.

It happened before 9 a.m. at Lower Richland Boulevard near Rabbit Run Road when troopers say a Jeep Compass and a Toyota Camry collided.

The Toyota driver died at the hospital while the driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital with injuries.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office is working on identifying the victim.
