1 person displaced after Tuesday morning house fire, CRFD says

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department crews have responded to a morning fire on Twisted Hill Road, said the fire department.

Fire units from the Irmo Fire District and CRFD arrived at the scene to find smoke pushing from the eaves of the home.

After making entry into the home, firefighters were able to locate the fire in the kitchen area and extinguish it, according to CRFD.

No one was reported as injured and at least one person has been left displaced as there was smoke damage throughout the structure.

The cause of the fire is being looked into.
