Search warrant leads to arrest of man after deputies find drugs

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– An executed search warrant has led to the arrest of a man after deputies found drugs, said investigators.

Investigators with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on E. Liberty Street in the Town of Winnsboro on Thursday February 6, which led to the arrest of Willie James Edmonds Sr. 

During the search, investigators found a cocaine base (crack), marijuana, and an illegally possessed firearm. 

Edmonds Sr. has been charged with trafficking cocaine base (crack), PWID marijuana, possession of weapon during violent crime, possession of firearm by person convicted of certain crimes.
