Columbia’s Rapid Shelter receives donation

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia’s Rapid Shelter is getting a much needed donation to help meet the needs of the city’s less fortunate.

The SC Cooperative Extension Joint Conference, which involves Clemson University and SC State University, selected Rapid Shelter Columbia, as this the recipient for 2025.

The donations include cleaning supplies, personal health items, linens, refillable water bottles, and more.

Columbia’s Rapid Shelters were first built in 2022.
