Hundreds protest ‘Project 2025’ at S.C. State House

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — On this President’s day and some in the Midlands used the opportunity to speak out against the current administration.

A group called ‘Peace and Progress in South Carolina’ held the demonstration Monday afternoon at the State House.
Organizers say they are voicing their opposition to Project 2025, which they say President Donald Trump and his administration are enacting in order to remove checks on executive power and advance right-wing policies.

Similar protests took place across the country.
