Sumter deputies investigating child death
Deputies say they attempted to revive the child using CPR but were unsuccessful and the coroner pronounced the child dead at the scene.
Sumter Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Co. deputies say at 6:41 Tuesday morning investigators received a call that a 6 month old child was unconscious at a home on Whipporwill Dr.
When deputies arrived they say the child was not breathing and did not have a pulse.
Deputies say they attempted to revive the child using CPR but were unsuccessful and the coroner pronounced the child dead at the scene.
