KCSO: Person wanted in connection with Calvert Drive shooting
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A teen is wanted in connection with a shooting that happened on Calvert Drive in Bethune just after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, said deputies.
Kerrington Kala White, 19, of Bethune has warrants out for his arrest by the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office for attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle.
Authorities believe White shot a victim inside a Calvert Drive home in Bethune. He is accused of leaving the scene after in a red 2002 Honda Accord (SC Tag: 9150SB).
Also he is accused of stealing from a home near the scene of the shooting. The victim, who is White’s brother, is still in serious condition at a hospital.
