SCSO: Reward being offered for information in connection with man’s January death

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says a reward is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Dominque Rakil Edwards death.

Investigators say on Saturday, January 4, at about 12:48 p.m., Sumter County Dispatch received a call about rapid gunfire in the Mooneyham Road or Curtis Drive area.

There were also, additional calls that reported seeing a man who had been shot on Curtis Drive with a group of people nearby.

Sumter County deputies say the victim who was identified as Dominique Rakil Edwards died due to his injuries.
