Homicide investigation leads to arrest of teen, Saluda Co. deputies say

SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– According to Saluda County deputies a homicide investigation has led to the arrest of a 17-year-old.
Saluda County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to an early morning service call in the northern part of Saluda County on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Investigators say due to evidence located at the scene deputies began an investigation, and later determined that a homicide happened.
Through the ongoing investigation Zachary Jones was arrested and charged with murder, desecration of human remains, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The sheriff’s office says Jones will be charged as an adult.
