The St. Pat’s in Five Points official kickoff event is this Thursday, Feb. 27, at 5:30 p.m. on Saluda Avenue, where you can see the fountain dyed green!

There will also be live performances, activities for the kids and much more for free.

The St. Pat’s Five Points Festival starts on Saturday, March 15.

Time is running out to take advantage of Columbia Animal Service’s adoption special this month.

Adoption fees are waived for all heartworm positive pets, and they’ll be treated at no cost.

For all other pets adoption fees are $14.

The shelter on Humane Lane is open Mondays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The SC State Museum is hosting a Disability Celebration Day next weekend.

Guests of all ages and abilities are invited to visit the museum and get creative with disability-adapted activities and sensory-friendly experiences.

The event is free with the exception of planetarium and 4D theater shows which are $5 each. It all takes place on March 8.

You can attend South Carolina’s first Pimento Cheese Festival next month.

The event will have live music, outdoor games, and pimento cheese from across the state.

It costs $5 for a tasting ticket and $5 for parking.

The festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Saluda Shoals Park.
