Raymond Moody, the convicted killer, kidnapper, and rapist of Brittanee Drexel, will be appearing in Georgetown County Monday morning for a civil trial.

Dawn Conley, the mother of Drexel, filed the civil lawsuit against Moody, the Bar Harbor Resort where Drexel was staying at the time of her murder, and Smith Family Partnership in January 2023.

Conley is reportedly suing Moody for intentional infliction of emotional distress and outrage, demanding a jury trial in the case.

The trial is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
