FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office, the Fairfield County Fire Service, and the State Forestry are working to investigate a fire that claimed a life.

The sheriff’s office said the fire that happened in the Carlisle area of Fairfield County was put out.
