COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Five Points is going green.
The St. Pat’s in Five Points official kickoff event starts Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. on Saluda Avenue where you can see the fountain dyed green.
There will also be live performances, activities for the kids and much more.
It’s free to attend, and the St. Pat’s Five Points Festival starts on Saturday, March 15.
Riverbanks Zoo is having its final Free Friday this week.
Every Friday in January and February residents of Richland and Lexington County can receive free daytime admission.
You just need a proof of residency such as a driver’s license or a property tax statement.
The Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo is riding back to the Soda City next month.
It runs Friday, March 7, to Saturday, March 8 at the Colonial Life Arena.
Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.
You can go early to enjoy pony rides, meet the cowboys, hop into the clown’s barrel, and much more before the rodeo begins.
The Town of Irmo is hosting its 8th annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
The event seeks to enhance lives through the appreciation and understanding of nature and Japanese culture.
There will be blossom viewing, food vendors, handcrafted artwork and more.
It takes place March 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Irmo Town Park.
