Multiple houses saved after fire rescue puts out fire, firefighters say

 

 

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Dutch Fork Fire Rescue firefighters were able to put out a woods fire on Wednesday, according to the fire rescue.

Fire rescue officials say units responded around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, to a woods fire off Kennerley Road in the area of Thelma Hicks Road.

The fire rescue says while putting out the fire, firefighters were to save multiple houses and sheds in the area.
