Columbia-Richland Fire unveils hot new ladder truck

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The Columbia- Richland Fire Department is fighting fires in some hot new wheels.
The new ladder 7 truck debuted the ‘Pierce Ascendant 107’ truck Monday.

Fire officials say the new mode of transportation will provide a key upgrade for the unit which happens to be one of the busiest fire stations in Richland County.

Columbia city councilwoman Tina Herbert, and members of the Cottontown Neighborhood Association were among the guests to take part in the ‘Push-in’ as well as current and former members of Station 7.
