Single-family Orangeburg home has partial collapse after fire, firefighters say

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– The cause of a weekend house fire in Orangeburg is under investigation, according to officials.

Orangeburg firefighters responded to the fire on Saxon Drive on Saturday.

The single-family home was fully engulfed in flames with partial collapse, say firefighters.

According to investigators, strong winds contributed to the spread of the fire to nearby properties.

No one inside the home was hurt, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
