South Carolina wildfires 30% contained

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A reminder that Governor McMaster declared a State of Emergency in response to the fires.

And a burning ban is also in effect across the entire state due to dry and windy conditions.

The governor says violators of the burning ban will be prosecuted.

The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
