Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day at the SC State House
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Wednesday, March 5, was Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day at the State House.
This morning family members of loved ones living with Alzheimer’s gathered to speak directly with policy makers.
They are asking legislators to address a severe shortage of specialists in senior medicine across South Carolina.
Officials with the Alzheimer’s Association say more than 125,000 South Carolinians are living with Alzheimers or Dementia.
