SCDOT swears in two commissioners

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The South Carolina Department of Transportation swore in two of its Commissioners Wednesday . Sel Hemingway, Jr. will join SCDOT for his first term.

Pamela Christopher will begin her second term after both being confirmed by SCDOT officials. Hemingway previously served as President of The Andrews Industrial Development Corporation and Chairman of the Georgetown County Economic Development Commission.

Meanwhile,  Christopher was the first woman to serve as the Chair of the SCDOT Commission in 2024.
