Taco Bell sales grow

(CNN)– Taco Bell is “crunching” the competition.

The fast food giant has forecast an 8% sales growth for the current quarter at stores that have been open for at least a year.

That far out-paces its rivals, many of which say sales have recently been sluggish due in part to inflation.

Taco Bell’s CEO says the “Luxe Cravings Box” and its chicken nuggets which sold out in two weeks are among the most popular items with customers.

Taco Bell also plans to add more new menu items this year.
