COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Councilwoman Aditi Bussells and representatives from the Black Maternal Health Collective have joined together to host a free event.

They are hosting Moms, Babies and Families Marketplace on Saturday, April 5, at the Drew Wellness Center at 2101 Walker Solomon Way.

The free event is so women can gain a wealth of information and resources supporting women, moms, babies, and families.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be vendor resources, expert panel discussions, blood pressure screenings and kids play.

Officials say the community will be able to learn about women’s health and postpartum care as well as hear inspiring stories from provider experts, birth workers and many more.
