Cheerios tops list as South Carolina’s favorite breakfast cereal, data reveals

(WCIV) — In honor of National Cereal Day, VegasInsider has analyzed what cereal South Carolina Residents are mostly likely to choose when they pick up their bowl and spoon in the morning.

Using Google Keyword Planner, data showed that Cheerios was ranked as the most popular cereal choice in the state of South Carolina.

Reportedly South Carolinians searched for cheerios 1,600 times per month over the past year. With 15 different flavors of the iconic “o” shaped cereal to choose from it is not hard to see why it ranked at the top.

Lucky Charms was the second most popular choice of cereal, with an average search volume of 1,100. Cinnamon Toast Crunch rounded off the top 3, with an average search volume of 1,000 over the past 12 months.
