Mega Millions ticket price to increase next month
(CNN)– Mega Millions tickets will more than double in cost next month.
The lottery says the new price will be $5 per play.
This is the second time ever the Mega Millions has upped the price with the first in 2017.
The lotto says it is overhauling the game, including by improving jackpot odds.
It says it expects more billion-dollar wins in the future.
