President Donald Trump to ‘probably’ extend TikTok sale deadline

(CNN)– President Donald Trump is considering extending the deadline for Tiktok to be sold.

On Thursday, March 6, Trump said he would “probably” extend the timeline if a deal is not reached by the initial deadline.

In January, the president signed an executive order giving Tiktok’s Chinese parent company 75 days to find a new owner.

He did not say how long that extension would last. He added that China will also play a role in the decision.
