Gamecock men’s basketball declines NIT invitation

After going one and done at the SEC Tournament, Lamont Paris and South Carolina men’s basketball declined an offer to play in the National Invitational Tournament.

It was a record-setting year for the SEC as 14 out of 16 teams from the conference earned a big to go dancing . The 14 teams set a new recored for the most teams from a conference to make the NCAA men’s NCAA tournament.
