Midlands man convicted of trafficking fentanyl

 

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands man convicted of trafficking fentanyl and other drugs will spend 25 years in prison.

Officials with the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office say David Matthews was convicted and sentenced last week.

According to officials in January of last year, Matthews was arrested after officers searched his West Columbia home and found the drugs as well as guns and cash.
