Firefighters control kitchen fire at condo building

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday morning, fire crews put out a kitchen fire at a Davidson Street condo building, said CRFD.
Columbia-Richland Fire Dept. said 3rd shift crews made a quick stop at a fire that happened at a condo building off of Davidson Street on March 17.
Firefighters responded to Carriage Place Condominiums shortly after 8:20 a.m. to find smoke showing from the roof of a building and on the second floor.
The crew were able to make entry into the building, locate the fire in the kitchen of one unit and bring the fire under control.
Officials said the fire did not spread past the kitchen.
