Monday morning traffic stop led to Columbia man’s drug arrest, says Prosperity Police
PROSPERITY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Monday morning traffic stop has led to the arrest of a Columbia man, says Prosperity Police Department.
Police say on March 17, around 8:12 a.m. a Prosperity Police Department officer made a traffic stop on US 76 at Grace Street which resulted in the arrest of Brian Christopher Myers of Columbia.
Myers was charged with driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and trafficking of fentanyl.
Narcotic officers from the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office helped with the arrest.
According to police, Myers is being held at the Newberry County Detention Center.
