1st shift crews respond to early morning wood-working shop fire

 

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department 1st shift crews responded to an early morning fire at a wood-working shop on Ehrlich Street, the fire department says.

Fire officials say firefighters responded to the building shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, and found smoke coming from the roof line when they got to the scene.

After establishing a water supply and making entry crews were able to locate the fire in a warehouse section of the property.

The fire was extinguished and no one was injured.

The Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating what caused the fire.
