SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Mega Millions players should check their tickets as there is a lucky winner out there, according to SC Lottery officials.

If you played the Mega Millions at the Sportman at 2810 Hwy 15 S. in Sumter for Tuesday’s drawing, your ticket could be the winning ticket worth $30,000.

A single ticket sold in the Midlands missed the jackpot by one number and is worth $30,000, says lottery officials.

The winning ticket holder matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win $10,000.

Because the player purchased the Megaplier option, their winnings tripled to $30,000.
