RCSD: Man pleads guilty to kidnapping, domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature

An investigation revealed that Christopher Miller intentionally hit the victim with his car, then forced the victim into the car against the victim’s will, say RCSD.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–  Richland County deputies say a man has pled guilty on Tuesday, March 18, to kidnapping and domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature with a sentence of 10 years in prison.

“This case demonstrates what the justice system is capable of when everyone works together,” says Sheriff Leon Lott.

RCSD say on June 21, 2024, just before 2 a.m. deputies responded in the 4800 block of Two Notch Road in reference to a request to meet with deputies.

Upon meeting with the victim, deputies learned that the original incident had taken place in the 8200 block of Two Notch Road.

An investigation revealed that Christopher Miller intentionally hit the victim with his car, then forced the victim into the car against the victim’s will, say RCSD.

Miller is also accused of continuing to assault the victim until they arrived in the 4800 block of Two Notch Road area.

Once the victim was able to call for help, Miller left before deputies’ arrived to the scene.
