Columbia PD: Man charged in connection with two separate 2024 crimes

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police have charged a man for two separate crimes last year.

According to investigators, last July Gary Taylor allegedly sold cocaine while at the 2000 block of Park Street near Logan Elementary.

Police say Taylor is also accused of stabbing a female after a disagreement & stealing her cash the next month.

He was charged with attempted murder, and armed robbery among other crimes.

Taylor is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
