Firefighters control Wednesday afternoon Shagbark Avenue fire
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Second shift crews with the Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to a Wednesday afternoon fire on Shagbark Avenue, said the fire dept.
Officials said the department’s Engine 8 crew saw smoke in the air while on the way to the Shagbark Avenue reported house fire on March 19.
When firefighters arrived to the location, they found a storage shed and trailer with items burning inside.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and extinguished it,
There were no injuries, and the fire was ruled an accident as officials said it was caused by outdoor burning that was going on at the property.
