Meta blocks whistleblower from talking to Congress

(CNN)– A former Facebook executive-turned-whistleblower says Meta is blocking her from speaking to Congress about her experiences at the company.

Sarah Wynn-Williams detailed her experiences at Facebook in a new book, “Careless people.”

But Meta moved quickly to stop her from promoting or discussing the memoir.

The company says she violated a non-disparagement agreement.

An arbitrator has temporarily ordered Wynn-Williams to stop promoting the book or making any critical comments related to Meta.
