ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says investigators are searching for a missing man last seen at an Orangeburg motel.

Sheriff Ravenell says Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators are searching for 52-year-old Daniel Westbury, Jr., who was reported missing by family members on Tuesday, March 25.

The last known sighting of the Harleyville man was by a motel employee on Saturday, March 22.

Family members say they dropped Westbury off at the Crown Inn on Bamberg Road on Friday, March 21. 

“If you have any idea as to where this gentleman could be, please call us. He has a family who is worried about him,” the sheriff says.
Westbury is described as a white male standing about 5″10 and weighing around 180 pounds.

Anyone with information on Westbury’s location is urged to call the Orangeburg County Communications Center at 803-534-3550.
