Columbia-Richland Fire Chief gifts new bikes to elementary students
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department Chief Aubrey D. Jenkins has gifted bikes to students who are excelling in school.
According to the fire department, Chief Jenkins gifted 16 new bicycles to students at Carver-Lyon Elementary School.
All of the bikes went to students who showed the most improvement in their STAR testing scores for reading, writing and math.
