Orangeburg Co. deputies searching for 18-year-old in connection with Five Chop Road shooting incident

Orangeburg County investigators are searching for 18-year-old Sincere Gibbs in connection with a Saturday Five Chop Road shooting, says the OCSO.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Saturday Five Chop Road shooting incident is under investigation, according to the Orangeburg Co. Sheriff’s Office.
“Several were injured as a result,” the sheriff says.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says the incident happened at 1175 Five Chop Road just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, when seven people at a party were injured by gunfire.
“Thankfully, there were no fatalities as a result of this incident,” continues the sheriff.
Three more people were trampled in the aftermath of the shooting and everyone injured has been released from a local hospital.
Investigators say the person who shot into the crowded gathering was identified as 18-year-old Sincere Gibbs.
Gibbs is wanted on seven counts of attempted murder, three counts of instigating a riot with a weapon, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and one count of aggravated breach of peace in connection with the shooting incident.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office says Gibbs is currently out on bond for an armed robbery that took place in Sumter.
He is accused of disabling his ankle monitor on March 12, 2025.
And is considered to be extremely dangerous and armed with a weapon.
