Harvest Hope, Transitions Homeless Center announces partnership focused on expanding meal services for the homeless

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Two organizations who assist people in need in the Midlands are joining forces.

Monday morning, April 7, officials with Harvest Hope and Transitions Homeless Center announced a new partnership focused on expanding meal services for individuals experiencing homelessness.

As part of the collaboration, Harvest Hope will take over daily kitchen operations at Transitions, which was formerly managed by the Salvation Army.

Since opening in 2011, the Transitions kitchen has served over 2.7 million meals.
