RCSD investigating shooting after 1 injured, several businesses damaged

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating a weekend shooting that injured one and damaged several businesses.

Deputies say one person was found shot in the lower body on Blythewood Road just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 5.

The victim was taken to a hospital.

Additionally, Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies say they found several businesses in that area that suffered property damage due to the shooting.

They believe multiple people were involved.
